What the people who have worked with Kate Murray say.

With the election fast approaching I want to commend Kate Murray and Jaci Grote for their exemplary service to the General Court of New Hampshire.  Their dedication to public service, their commitment to civic engagement and their concern for the well being of our communities is greatly appreciated and ever so essential if we are to secure New Hampshire's future.  Indeed, their summer-long series of neighborhood forums, providing residents of New Castle and Rye the opportunity to gather, void of partisan rancor, while safely navigating a deadly pandemic, was a casebook example of how "government of the people, by the people, for the people" was intended.  I thank Kate and Jaci for their leadership and their dedicated public service. I've been so grateful to have Kate on the Planning Board.  She always arrives totally prepared, having done her homework without forming a bias.  She listens carefully and is never afraid to ask that "obvious" question that no one else will raise but is grateful that she did.  She's grounded and reasonable and thoughtful.  I count on hearing her well-reasoned opinions (Darcy Horgan)

“Once in a long while an extraordinary human being emerges to lead the represent her neighbors. Such a person is Kate Murray of New Castle. I am writing to enthusiastically support Kate Murray’s candidacy for State Representative. Kate has earned two doctorates, is an educator, but has never hesitated to roll up her sleeves to serve the practical needs of her neighbors. Kate serves on the New Castle Planning Board and the Historic District Commission.  She has also served on the boards of the New Hampshire Women’s Foundation, the Portsmouth Music Hall and the historic Portsmouth Athenaeum.  Our state faces enormous challenges in the next years. These include, ensuring all students share the excellent opportunities afforded by our best schools, attacking an opioid crisis, which has us leading the country in overdoses, and reducing our energy costs which are also among the highest in the country.
